What a blessing it was to receive the Not-For-Profit Excellence Award from the Powell River Chamber of Commerce last night, February 4th, 2023. It was a beautiful gala event held at Dwight Hall and we felt honored to be included.

We at Miklat Recovery Society thank, from the bottom of our hearts, those who nominated us, as well as the judges who decided on the winners and runners up, all the volunteers involved and of course the catering service. We’d also like to mention the many nominees in various catagories, all of which were worthy of an award. This city is blessed by a rich assortment of well run businesses and we should all be very proud of the work we do.

Every board member, employee, volunteer, and client, past and present, at Miklat has earned this award. We are a hard working team and it truly takes a village. So thank you to everyone at Miklat, as well as all the supporters who have brought us so far.
